The purpose of the “Train-the-Trainer” Program is to provide districts with the opportunity to build capacity and to enjoy flexibility in training based on current needs and demands of the district.
This program is offered to districts who have adopted the “Write Up A Storm!”® Writing Curriculum district-wide and after selected personnel have completed specified professional development requirements A full overview and fee schedule of the Train-the-Trainer Program is available upon request.
The Train-the-Trainer Program will provide the following services:
- The opportunity for Teacher Trainers to provide professional development to teachers new to your district in the “Write Up A Storm!”® writing curriculum;
- The opportunity for Teacher Trainers to re-fresh existing teachers in the concepts and strategies of “Write Up A Storm!”®; and,
- The opportunity for Teacher Trainers to coach teachers and model “Write Up A Storm!”® lessons in the classroom.
